refugee camps are built by a government, The united nations or international organisations (such as red cross). Hundreds of thousands of people maybe even millions my be in a single camp. Refugee camps are made so refugees can have a place to stay while they are trying to get to another country or if they have no home and no where to go. As you can see in the picture many people are forced to make tents out of blankets, jumpers, jackets and clothe ( or any material they can get there hands on). They also don't have many luxury items (like T.V's, radio, computers and mobiles) that we can sometimes take for granted. I think it would not be one of the best places in the world but the have to live there.
